Li Yin

Education Co-Director

Li Yin is the Director of Education at Climate Cardinals. She supports the coordination of the Ptera newsletter and the ambassadorship program for a community of 10,000+ volunteers from 80+ countries.

Li was born and raised in Shenzhen, China, moved to Ojai, California for high school, and most recently became a resident of Athens, Greece. Growing up across three continents, she has seen the global impact of climate change as well as the transformative power of cross-cultural dialogue. These experiences fuel her dedication to Climate Cardinal’s cause of helping climate education reach non-English-speaking corners of the world.

Currently, Li is an undergraduate student and researcher at Wellesley College and MIT majoring in Architecture and Data Science. She is also a visiting scholar in Urban Studies and Real Estate at Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Preservation and Planning for the 2024-2025 school year. In her free time, she finds herself taking care of horses, singing in her a cappella group, or volunteering as an after-school counselor in Boston’s Chinatown.
