Lea Obermüller

Program Development Manager

Lea Obermüller is the Program Development Manager at Climate Cardinals, where she drives global initiatives to make climate education accessible and empower youth leadership. She led the launch of Climate Calling, a centralized hub for youth climate opportunities, and is overseeing the rollout of the Ambassadors program with Climate Cardinals' Volunteer Education Director.

Lea is pursuing a Master’s in Humanitarian Action from Sciences Po and graduated magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa from Williams College, earning highest honors in sociology and the highest thesis award in the department. She was also a Rhodes Scholar finalist for Germany. Her research focuses on migration, statelessness, and ethnic discrimination, and she has conducted fieldwork at the European Parliament, engaging policymakers on asylum and migration policies.

A sought-after speaker, she has spoken for institutions like the World Bank and We Don’t Have Time, and represented Climate Cardinals at COP29, the Paris Peace Forum, and regional conferences across Latin America and Europe.

Splitting her time between Santiago, Paris, and Munich, Lea is shaping the future of youth-driven climate action on a global scale.
